Body of medium size, ovoid, dorsoventrally compréssed, with small caudal projection bearing single bristle; buccal ciliature inconspicuous, located anteriorly on ventral surface; inquilines of sea urchins (Entodiscus), commensals in bivalve molluscs (Pectenita), or in esophagus of sipunculids (Cryptochilidium).
